LRC promotes servanthood with Food for Fines Drive

As we consider the holiday season, we are thankful for all of the blessings we have received. It is a time of gathering and celebration; a time of giving. Beginning November 26, 2007 we will be hosting a canned food drive to help those in need. For every can of food brought in the donator will receive a "Get Out of Fine Free" card redeemable for $1 in fines accumulated on library accounts. These cards are valid until May 2, 2008.
The food drive will end Dec. 13, 2007 (Finals Week).
All donations will be given to the Lake Wales Care Center. Let's spread the love of God one can at a time.
